This world première production opened at the National Theatre’s Cottesloe auditorium on 9th August 2001 and ran in repertoire for the rest of the season before transferring to the Gielgud Theatre in the West End, where it opened on 5th February 2002 and played, with a number of cast changes, until 17th August 2002.
