The Dance of Death

The Other Place, RSC
This was a Royal Shakespeare Company production of both parts of Strindberg’s Dance of Death.
It opened at The Other Place theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon on 3rd February 1978, then transferred first to the Goulbenkian Theatre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and then to the RSC Warehouse theatre in Covent Garden where it opened on 7th March, and then to the Aldwych Theatre, the RSC’s London home, where it opened on 4th April and played in repertoire until 2nd September 1978.
