This was a Primetime TV production of the original RSC stage version of the play, first screened on Channel 4 as a four part weekly series from 7-28 November 1982. 


For more casting detail, please go to the Broadway cast on this site. The same actors recorded the play for television at the Old Vic Theatre in the summer of 1981 and then went straight on to play on Broadway for a fourteen week autumn season.
